Aquaculture Europe 2025 will take place in Valencia, Spain, and will be a meeting point for the entire aquaculture value chain of the industry as well as academic aquaculture specialists. It is a professional platform where industry professionals as well as academics/research institutions gather to discuss challenges and the future for the aquaculture industry.

We are pleased to be organizing a Pavilion of Denmark at Aquaculture Europe for the first time and gather Danish company experts to showcase Danish innovative technology and expertise to the aquaculture industry.

Pavilion of Denmark

Exhibiting on Pavilion of Denmark is relevant for Danish companies interested in:

  • Showcasing their aquaculture solutions and technology to existing and potential customer and other collaboration partners in Europe
  • Getting market/industry insights and establishing new relationships in the aquaculture industry
  • Having an opportunity to discuss with both industry professionals and academics on challenges and new opportunities within the aquaculture industry.

It is relevant for Danish companies supplying the aquaculture industry value chain to participate at Aquaculture Europe 2025. This includes feed suppliers, technology providers for both land-based and sea-based farms, as well as companies offering equipment/solutions for processing fish raw materials or for waste management and processing of by-products.

Location of Pavilion of Denmark
The exhibition areas at Aquaculture Europe are relatively restricted and the space allocated to Pavilion of Denmark quite limited. We have reserved the stands on the MEZANINE (first floor) for Pavilion of Denmark, and each Danish company can book 6 sqm, which equals to one booth. See overview of the exhibition areas of Aquaculture Europe here

Explore market opportunities and establish new business relationships across the European aquaculture industry

The European Aquaculture Society (EAS), organizer of Aquaculture Europe, is driven by a vision to gather the industry for a sustainable development of aquaculture in Europe. EAS was also one of the main organizers of the successful AQUA aquaculture event in August 2024 in Copenhagen.

Aquaculture Europe 2025 provides a platform, that brings the value chain of European aquaculture together to establish business connections, address industry challenges, explore opportunities, and gain market insights, all matters relevant for Danish companies.

With a strong focus on sustainability, EAS and the scope of Aquaculture Europe 2025, aligns perfectly with Danish service, equipment and solutions providers, whose technologies contribute to improved fish welfare, sustainability, energy optimization, and reduced environmental impact in the aquaculture industry.

Market brief: aquaculture industry in Spain & Europe

The aquaculture industry in Europe as well as worldwide is a fast-growing food sector. As a result, intensive research is being conducted, and new solutions are continuously being developed with a focus on creating a more sustainable and commercially viable industry. In recent years, there has been an emphasis on land-based fish/shellfish farming to reduce the industry's environmental footprint amongst others. However, significant efforts are also being made to develop innovative solutions within traditional, sea-based fish farming for improved sustainability and fish welfare.

The aquaculture industry is central to the EU’s "Blue Economy" strategy as an important protein source with a low climate footprint. The European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund has allocated EUR 1 billion for 2021-27 to promote sustainability, growth, and employment among other in the aquaculture sector. Spain, where Aquaculture Europe takes place, sees an increasing shift towards investing in aquaculture rather than traditional fishing.

At Aquaculture Europe 2025, Danish companies will have the opportunity to showcase their innovative and efficient solutions to a highly knowledgeable audience of industry decision-makers and professionals from the European aquaculture.
